Coming from highly qualified academic backgrounds and having solid experience in commerce and industry as well as being members of a number of professional bodies, the team gives practical and informed support. But probably more importantly, they have the practical experience of starting and running their own businesses to help you. Business AdvisorJulie Anne Howarth ![]() Julie-Anne started working at SENTA in July 2006 delivering business advice and support to individuals looking at starting a business and new businesses, through one-to-one support and guidance sessions. In the past Julie has worked on New Deal for Self Employment, and ran her own entertainment business for 20 years. She also has a background in health club management. Business AdvisorManjit Dosanjh ![]() Manjit joined SENTA in April 2006 as Business Advisor his main role is to oversee projects and assist with the New Entrepreneur Scholarship. He has a strong background in finances, being a qualified financial advisor such qualifications including a BA (hons) in Finance, Financial Planning Certificate (FPC 1, 2 and 3) and CeMAP mortgage advisor accreditation. Manjit also has various business interests, including convenience stores, post office and a web company. While he once worked in wine retail, he has spent most of the past decade as a magazine journalist and editor and is still active as a motoring and lifestyle writer with retail interests in Sheffield and Leeds. Luqman’s role at SENTA involves assisting clients to progress on the New Entrepreneur Scholarship Scheme and assisting clients in the Netherthorpe & Upperthorpe area. He is also an independent business management consultant whose skill sets include business planning, business strategy, business development, sales & marketing and communications technology.
