The New Entrepreneur Scholarship program is designed to assist individuals from certain wards within the Yorkshire and Humber region to start up their own business.

The NES program is a comprehensive yet flexible scheme which offers a minimum of 90 hours of support, guidance and workshops in order for individuals to assess their business idea. The scholarship lasts for approximately 12 weeks and applicants must be available to attend all activities.

After completion of the business support phase and preparation of a business plan, scholars may be eligible to apply for support of up to £1,500 for items essential to their business in order to assist with business start up costs.

Places are limited and applications are subject to panel approval.
