About SENTA

Sheffield Enterprise Agency (SENTA) has been delivering business start up support in Sheffield for over 20 years and was acquired by Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry in September 2002. SENTA is now based in Albion House along with Sheffield Chamber and South Yorkshire International Trade Centre (SYITC).

SENTA’s business start up programme is funded by organisations such as Learning Skills Council, Sheffield City Council, Barclays, Business Link Yorkshire and Job Centre Plus.

Delivery programs include Intensive Business Support (BiG/LEGI), NES Programme (regional contract holder), Barclays Let Your Business Take Flight workshops, Pre/Post Start workshops and New Deal For Self Employment.

SENTA is also a full member of the National Federation of Enterprise Agencies (NFEA), Customer First accredited, as part of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce, holders of the Investors in People and the Community Mark awards.

All business advisors have undertaken business advisor qualifications and training as stipulated by our contractors and SFEDI.
